Graphic design and branding studio Foreign Policy Design created an eye-catching visual identity for Figment.

Figment is a company that offers beautifully furnished boutique homes as well as a thoughtful and refreshing take on co-living. Their aim is to transform spaces into vibrant platforms for local art, design, and architecture. “First launched in beautifully restored shophouses in its home city of Singapore, each Figment home is designed and decorated to reflect the personality of a local designer, offering residents their own piece of the city-state’s history and local flavor.”

The creative people at studio Foreign Policy worked with Figment to turn each house into a home. They created an expandable logo and brand system that references the unique roofs of Singapore’s heritage shophouses. In partnership with local craftsmen and makers, they developed specially curated welcome kits to make new residents feel right at home. Below you can see a few examples of the brand collateral. As an antidote to lockdown boredom, Sussex-based Tom Boulton designed a lightweight, portable printing press that brings the inky art form directly into people’s homes. In contrast to traditional machines that are heavy and bulky, the F-Press was created using 3-D printing and CNC machines and easily fits on a tabletop, letting users produce A5 artworks, greeting cards, and other type-based pieces even without access to large equipment.

Boulton’s press already reached its goal on Crowdfunder, although you still have one week to support the project. Head to Boulton’s Instagram to see some of the prints he’s created using the device.

The creative team of studio Brand Brothers has worked on a unique corporate identity for Bécot.

Bécot is a creator of morning events based in Paris. She offers special moments by combining sport, music, breakfast, on a Saturday morning in a variety of venues. The aim of this movement is to get together, to wake up, to dance. Prior to its official launch in 2021, the creative people of studio Brand Brothers have been asked to work on a graphic identity for these events.
Based on an in-house typographic design, they came up with a visual experience that is composed of thick, solid but appealing letters. The logo symbolizes a smile and a rising sun. In addition, they have developed a graphic territory based on bold typographic choices, and a collection of generative and colorful textures.

Digital illustrator and 3D artist Adriana Mora created a unique personal brand identity for ByElectra.

Mexican illustrator and 3D artist Adriana Mora worked on a personal brand identity project named ByElectra. The aim was to design a range of graphic elements that would be used to develop the branding for her personal 3D illustration project. The visual conceptualization of all these pieces is based on the systematization of interchangeable pieces as we know from lego building blocks. The graphic system was simplified with the intention of reducing the cost of their reproduction.
